It was in July 2014 that I realized that there is a 4 day
holiday in October. (2 Oct – 5 Oct). what followed was few phone calls and few
wats app and we decided to head to Goa, but this time we thought of exploring
South Goa.
There were two reasons for
that:
1 1. We
have never been to South Goa
2 2. North
Goa will be too too too packed because of the long weekend.
Initially we were 8 friends travelling from
Mumbai to Goa and 2 friends joining us in Goa. But 4 friends backed out at
the last minute and now we were 4 (Parth, Nikita, Nikhil and me) travelling to
Goa from Mumbai.
After the initial hiccup (4 friends backing out
pissed me completely), we all were looking forward to four days of sunshine,
sand, booze and relaxation.
We all met at Andheri station and took the
harbour line train to CST. Since we reached CST early, we went outside the
station to have a look at the CST station all lit up with colourful lights.

Once we were through with taking snaps of CST
we headed back to CST station. We boarded the Mangalore Express at 10:00 pm. Nikita
had packed aloo parathas, aloo palak parathas and few sandwiches for dinner. We
all were famished and we gobbled down the dinner in no time J .
We chit chatted for a while and then decided to
call it a day. Nikita (my sister) woke me up around 5 in the morning to peep
out of the window. She wanted me to see the fog, the greenery, the hills… a
sight to see.
